Welcome to the world of Bonsai's.
Bonsai come in various sizes and plant species: Fig, Juniper, Azalea,
Cypress, Honey Suckle, Lilly Pilly, Picea Albertiana, Sageretia Theezans,
Pink Snow Leaves, Lophomyrtus Pixie, Cotton Easter and Snow Leaves
Serissa Foetida.
Bonsai means `plant in a tray' in Japanese and they literally are
just that. These plants imitate in miniature the form of a mature
tree that grows in the wild. Conyac sells a large variety of these
stunning plants in painted terracota pots, which we pot and paint
ourselves. There is a belief that the bonsai are very hard to maintain and
require a lot of work. On the contrary, they are very easy to maintain. We
have included a "Month by Month Caring Fact Sheet" for the proper
maintenance of the bonsai plants. Basically, it needs to be watered once a
week in winter and a few more times in the summer. A mistake that many
people make is placing the bonasi in the sun all day. Essentially, a bonsai
needs to be placed in the morning sun and needs to be kept away from the
strong afternoon sun. Bonsai is an outdoor plan, but can be placed indoors
just as long as you rotate between indoors and outdoors. For example, 3 days
indoors and 4 days outdoors or 1 week indoor and 1 week outdoor.
The Bonsai's have been categorised into 10cm, 12cm and 15cm catalogs,
not all species are currently available.
